In September, illustrator Camilla Billett and I were lucky enough to get invited to visit beautiful Moi! An 8 hour train journey through breathtaking landscapes took us to the End-of-summer-reading-party at Lund Library. It was a full house and we made a book illustration workshop with kids age 7-14. They were amazing! Next morning we met many of our new friends from 3rd. and 4th grade again at Nygård Primary School. There we made a presentation and read some of our books. It was su much fun meeting the kids and we would really love to do this again. Soon!
Illustrativet celebrated our newest books by organising an event at Fredrikstad main library. This was the official book launch of my own book Dukketyven. We presented Mia kan fly (Camilla Billett), Dukketyven (Monia Nilsen) og Hunden (Anette Heiberg) and had a great time drawing with the kids afterwards. Illustrations from the books were on display in the library through out the summer.
We made a party for aspiring princes and princesses at Sandefjord Public Library! Everybody who wanted to dressed up and brought their own tiaras. Author Sidsel Jøranlid read from our book Bettina brudepike and talked a bit about how Bettina came to be. Afterwards there was a paper craft workshop where we used collage to make Bettina paper-dolls, crowns and knight helmets. It was great fun - literally a sparkling day!

Bettina brudepike, author Sidsel Jøranlid and I got to be a part of the magnificent Vakre bryllup Expo, which took place at Hydrogenfabrikken in Fredrikstad (2017). At our stand we exhibited original art work from the book and provided a drawing workshop for the younger members of the audience.
